PhD in Marine Biology and Aquaculture from the University of Santiago de Compostela. Hired in charge of the European project MarBioFEED (Enhanced biorefinig methods for the production of marine biotoxins and microalgae fish feed). The main objective of this project is the massive cultivation of microalgae to obtain bioactive compounds by means of new biorefining methods. My current work consists of developing and optimizing culture protocols for toxic dinoflagellates of the genus Dinophysis, starting from small volumes until they are cultured in photobioreactors.
